Gro Fraas (b. 1944 / Norway), is educated at the Norwegian National Arts and Crafts School in Oslo. Using techniques such as painting, watercolor, tempra and lithography, Gro Fraa creates dreamy landscape paintings in gorgeous colors. With almost visible outlines of figures and recognizable objects, her work rarely shows any excerpts from nature.
Gro Fraas has had exhibitions at Galleri Briskeby, Galleri Arctandria and Hotell Walaker. She is represented in the collection of, among others, the National Gallery, the National Gallery and the Norwegian Cultural Council and was awarded the honor of producing the diploma for the Nobel Peace Prize 2010.
