Henrik Kleppe

Henrik Kleppe Worm-Müller (b. 1981 / Norway), gives old archival photographs new life as oil paintings on aluminum plates. In this way, he adds a new aspect to the photographs that were initially intended as documentation, and gives them a sense of nostalgia. With their very lifelike landscapes, the paintings refer to Norwegian national romance, especially represented by Tiedemann and Gude. Along with art historical icons such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio, William Turner and Caspar David Friedrich, Tiedemand and Gude are also important sources of inspiration in Worm-Müller's artistry.

Worm-Müller has been a professional skateboarding professional since he was 16 years old and is well known in the skating community, but today it is the art he lives by
