Tone Svaland (b. 1965 / Norway), is a Norwegian artist, educated at the Norwegian Arts and Crafts School in Oslo from 1989 to 1994 with ceramics as a major. She is more known as a graphic artist than as a ceramic artist, but has collaborated with Figgjo AS on porcelain dishes. She can also use scrap in her pictures.
Tone Svaland had her first exhibition at Søgne Gamle Prestegård in 1997, she has had two separate exhibitions at Galleri Bi-Z, a large art project in collaboration with Annbjørg Lien, Per Fronth, Ørnulf Opdahl and Nico Widerberg in 1999 and decoration of Haumyrheia school in 2001 In the spring of 2004, she exhibited paintings, graphics and porcelain dishes at the Henie-Onstad Art Center. In 2005 she exhibited in the Ryfylke art team and in 2006 in the gallery Briskeby in Oslo. Svaland is located in Kristiansand.
